MONTREAL — A passenger who arrived in Montreal from West Africa vomiting does not have the Ebola virus.
The man was rushed into isolation at Notre-Dame Hospital after landing on Sunday afternoon and has tested negative for the deadly and contagious disease. The man was flying in from Guinea when he fell ill.
Notre-Dame is one of two Montreal hospitals designated to deal with suspected Ebola cases. Children suspected of carrying the disease will be treated at Ste-Justine hospital.
